Ryan Phoenix is a singer/songwriter that plays all types of instruments including the Bodhrán, Guitar, and Keyboard, He is self taught in music. He started his musical path at the age of 12, and began developing with more serious intent a year or two later. Currently, Ryan is experimenting with various genres of music, but he has a huge interest in Country. Ryan likes to “take it easy” and to “play it by ear,” but he also makes the most of every opportunity that comes his way, and has played in pubs all over Ireland, and in the South of France. Recently, Ryan was invited to appear as the opening act for legendary Cork musician, John Spillane, in the well known music venue De Barras in Clonakilty. Ryan says ‘It was a fine night, I really enjoyed it.’ Ryan won McCarthy’s community talent competition 2010, as a member of a group, and he won the competition again in 2012, as a solo artist. People were struck by ‘his maturity beyond his years,”

Ryan Phoenix, Is a talented singer/songwriter with a signature vocal and new/country sound. He blends a unique and refreshing take on country music. His unique sound began taking shape while travelling from Ireland to the back roads and rural towns across the USA.
He is currently working on his new original album featuring 12 of his best songs.
Influenced by artists such as – Glen Campbell, The Eagles, George Strait, Willie Nelson, and Keith Whitley etc… Ryan has played in many well-known venues at home and abroad, And had the privilege of playing his own song on stage at ‘the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville’ and the world famous ‘Broken Spoke in Austin Texas’.
